Setting a goal is not the main thing. It is deciding how you will go about achieving it and staying with that plan.

Hello! Andy Tapparo here. Thank you for stopping by. I truly appreciate it.
I was born, raised, and still live here on the North Shore of Boston. It's where my roots are.
Back in 1997, I left my career at a major corporation and founded Tapparo Capital Management. I was motivated by a quote from Confucius - "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” He was absolutely right! I eagerly look forward to getting up every morning because I love what I do.
I get to help my clients establish and prioritize their goals because I believe strongly that these goals, needs, and wants build the necessary foundation for any tailored financial plan. After the foundation has been set, I develop personalized solutions and a tailored investment portfolio that optimizes my clients’ probability of achieving these goals.
As a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), I know that it’s not just about the destination, it’s about the journey as well. Whether traveling to the Outer Banks of North Carolina or preparing your path to retirement, I am always ready for the road ahead.
I am also frequently quoted in the media as a financial expert.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York and my Masters of Science in Finance, with distinction, from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Prior to founding Tapparo Capital Management, I was a Strategic Planning Manager with Verizon Corporation for twelve years. I wasn't always lucky enough to be able to do what I love. As you can see, it took me a few years to discover my passion.
Susan, my wife of 29 years, and I live in Topsfield, Massachusetts where we raised two beautiful daughters together. Besides my family and financial planning, my other love is being out on the open road. So if I am out of the office, you can probably find me embarking on yet another road trip.
